- PUCAFREU fieldwork missions
The CNRS stall has visited at the end of 2011 the five partners involved in the project in order to assess the first results of the phase of research conducted in Belgium, Italy, France, Spain and Romania. These missions also focused on establishing the next steps related to the fieldwork research action foreseen in the project.
- PUCAFREU internal kick off meeting
The PUCAFREU internal kick –off meeting was held last 22nd of March 2011 at the Maison de Sciences de l’Home et de la Société, Poitiers, France. Delegates from all partners and institutions involved in the project participated at this meeting. Participants dealt with administrative and financial issues during the morning (calendar of activities, review on the budget, role and duties of the different institutions, etc.). The second part of the meeting was devoted to launch a common methodology plan to be equally implemented by all partners during the fieldwork research action foreseen in the project.

- Fieldwork coordination meetings
CNRS staff members have visited all PUCAFREU partners in order to coordinate the launching process of the fieldwork research action at every territory. The aim of these first short visits has been to consolidate and discuss the final common methodology document, supervise and support upcoming staff recruitments (research officers) and ensure the launching of the fieldwork process is done appropriately.
